Outstanding scrappy quilt of so many triangles, a One Patch quilt.
Circa 1880’s with some earlier fabrics and such a true scrap bag of different prints and colors. A fabric designer and collectors delight.
This beauty has the look of a charm quilt, though it is not as there are some duplicate fabrics. Browns, blacks, indigos, greens, reds, checks, plaids, dots, stripes, conversational fabrics like the dog and horseshoe print and much more.
This cotton quilt is hand quilted and looks to be in excellent condition.
I doubt it was ever washed and doesn't need it.
Even the backing is great as an early print was used for the entire backside.
This is a pattern that can be turned either direction on a bed.
