This tiny scale stars pattern of 6 pointed stars, Hexagonal Stars is outstanding.
I gave this quilt its first wash and it’s so wonderful as it appears unused.
No wear.
A pattern I’ve not seen before and there are so many fabrics in this scrappy beauty on a pleasing yellow ground.
So much piecework went into making this quilt. I can’t imagine the time it took to make this quilt.
It is all hand quilted. Note the quilting design in the centers of the yellow blocks.
The little stars blocks, the fabrics coordinated with each other, as like a star with blue and yellow solids has a blue print around it. That is a labor of love in quilt making.
It may be a circa 1940’s quilt, possibly a-little later.
Some of the images make the yellow appear some brighter than it is, as it is a super happy shade.
The dimensions are 71x85 inches on this masterpiece of piecework.
