This beauty was used and loved and at one time has had some restoration in some places as on the tip of some trees, red replaced, and the red border on the ends is covering the original red.
The red and white and blue and white border is at the top and the bottom of the quilt.
There is wear and a “bite” out of the edge plus more wear on the edge.
Be sure and look at all the images.
The quilt displays well and still has so much to offer as a circa 1880’s quilt.
I can see it stacked, folded width ways at the end of a bed, used as color on a bed, draped over a door or couch, the thoughts are endless.
It has had a gentle bath so is fresh in that respect.
