A Circa 1890’s quilt that is ready to enjoy as it’s been gently washed and dried flat.
Lots of hand quilting in the ground areas of the quilt with feathered wreaths and the diamonds quilted in the blocks in a double rod style. Typical of many 1880’s quilts.
This beauty displays well.
For condition, other than some possible old ink or marker spots as shown, the overall condition is very good. I see no wear to note on the front side and saw a couple small rubs on the backing.
The recent wash and air drying outside lightened up the spots some, so consider it a quilt to enjoy and it is clean.
