Tree of Life Quilt

This wonderful quilt, Tree of Life and known as Pine Tree, is a popular American classic pieced work design. 

The condition is excellent on this circa 1880’s hand quilted quilt. 

The colors of the tree are red, a desirable cheddar and the neutrals of a fugitive green. 

I gave this beauty a wash and it’s ready to enjoy. 

Small quilting stitches and a close quilted design of crosshatch.
