String Stars and Bars Quilt

This is a stunning antique quilt done in strips of pieced scrappy stars and solids.

The outstanding String Stars on the red ground alternating with a solid green in between was this makers thought to layout and color. 

This is a great quilt that can be enjoyed either direction on a bed or great on a wall or draped over furniture. 

A circa 1880’s quilt. 

This beauty is hand quilted and looks to be unwashed and really unused.

Minor, light insignificant fade in some of the  green. 

Wonderful antique fabrics in the stars. 

The dimensions are 68x88 inches.
