Fabulous southern antique Hexagon quilt in solids of wonderful southern fabrics.
This beauty from Alabama and in colors of red, chrome orange and green. A very interesting design with the smaller hexie pattern.
A circa 1870’s quilt that is not perfect with some color lift as shown, probably something spilled on it, and a few other minor spots, but not really wear that might be expected from one this early.
The hand quilting is a wonderful detail on this quilt.
The dimensions are 77x82 inches. Shown on a queen bed.
