This adorable western pictorial vintage, circa 1950’s quilt, called Ride ‘em Cowboy is so nostalgic and charming.
This western and classic themed quilt can be enjoyed by those of all ages.. I personally have collected these for years as there were several western themed quilt kits that came out, some more rare than others.
The detailed appliqué, embroidery and hand quilting shows all the love that went into making this quilt. The binding is a red fabric stitched on by hand.
Note all the details of the cowboy and cowgirl and all the western images and horses.
This was a kit quilt from the Progress company and came out in the 1950’s. Lots of hand work goes into making a kit quilt, so don’t get concerned of the word ‘Kit” .. Many companies came out with kit quilt patterns in the 1920’s and 30’s and later.
This charmer is in excellent condition and is ready to enjoy.
It actually looks like it was made and stored and just put away.
