This absolute masterpiece hand made quilt,, with thousands of pieces is one to behold.
A small scale mini 6 Point Stars all connecting. I look at all the miniature stars and small diamonds and think of the quilt maker that pieced this and then hand quilted it long ago.
The person much have had quite a great stash of fabrics.
Circa 1940’s.
The condition is excellent. Enjoy all the images .
I would have loved to have a count on all the pieces, but didn’t get time to do all the counting.
I gave this beautiful treasure a bath and then grass dried it as it appeared to have never been washed.
