This beautiful appliqué with roses and florals in the appliqué design, a kit quilt, called American Beauty Bouquet. This pattern came out in the 1940’s and continued into the 1970’s .
This is a Home Needlecraft Creation quilt. A lot of hand work goes into the kits quilts .
While taking photographs I discovered on the corner edge a date of 1977 and the initials P R. So that really brought the date of the quilt into play. Love finding those details.
It’s appears really to be unused and never washed. There is a small minor spot of yellow on the very edge as shown.
All the appliqué is done by hand as is all the hand quilting.
