An outstanding quilt along with an outstanding design, May Tulips, a classic of the  collection of the Marie Webster patterns. 

Marie Webster was an early quilt designer and her quilts with her  patterns are highly collected and enjoyed. 

Appliqué work in colors of pink, lavender and green are the primary colors of this beauty. 

This design is known for the art decor like border and the arcs of tulips along the edge. 

The design of the tulips layout is quite delightful.  

Graceful, curving lines of the stems and leaves have an Art Nouveau feel. 

A circa 1920-30’s quilt that is in excellent condition.
