This is the nicest pink and white Pinwheels quilt with a border of pink and white which really shows the cable quilting design.
A circa 1930’s quilt.
The smaller size along with the small blocks of only 4 inches and alternate blocks with a sunflower like design of hand quilting is the nicest touch to this quilt. The hand quilting really puffs up a bit in the alternate blocks making it looks almost like stuff work, as appears to have been washed at some point in time.
I call this a wall or crib or lap quilt since it’s 42x55 inches.
I can also see this mixed with another quilt on a bed.
The condition of this cotton quilt is excellent.
