This “modern art” looking Patchwork quilt with the greatest layout and the way all the pieces of fabric are set together looks like a patchwork puzzle.
One of the details I love is the strip of patchwork that looks like half stars and triangles that runs down the center of the quilt. We wonder “ what was the maker thinking “???
This patchwork was more of a quilt made from lots of scraps, and more a make do quilt, that in today’s world can be looked upon as art, like an abstract painting.
The overall condition is very good, only showing some sporadic binding wear, which is natural. I noticed a double loose seams where pieced.
Fan pattern hand quilting and lots of it.
This is a quilt that can be displayed on the wall, or a great bed quilt. I can be turned either direction.
