This outstanding early original doll quilt, a One Patch of Triangles, with a great border and to top it off the backing of early fabric gives it the look of a 2 sided quilt. Both sides are great.
A true antique little gem of a quilt, circa 1870’s.
Imagine a small child playing with this and a doll in a time period so long ago.

Offering as found. Theres a small bite on the edge corner and age toning, but for the time period and the condition it is in, I personally consider it quite nice and pretty excellent overall.
No repairs noted.
Some of the fabrics may be of French origin.

The little border print is beautiful. If you’ll notice the border print is the same fabric that’s in the backing. The maker of this doll quilt did it in the pattern of a larger quilt only in a mini for the doll beds of the time.
