This is the quilt that is really an amazing example of one half inch patchwork blocks.
In each block of blocks there are 81 miniature scale 1/2 inch blocks of circa 1880-1910 fabrics. Then to piece 97 blocks of those 81 patchwork blocks making up 7857 pieces plus the 98 blocks of an orange cheddar fabric as the alternating fabric making a total of 7955 blocks in this quilt is pretty awesome.
The blocks have both solids of some red, indigo prints , and other alternating prints to give design to each block.
Really thinking each patchwork of 81 squares is a labor of quilt making love .
Overall excellent condition. Surprisingly i only found 4 tiny pieces of blocks with wear/ missing fabric. I may get around to repairing that but for the time offering this beauty like it is . Be sure and enjoy all the many images.
In addition to all the hand piecing it is hand quilted.
