Postage Stamp Single Chain Quilt

This is quite a quilt of scrappy fabrics and in excellent condition.  A Single Irish Chain, 9 Patch quilt. 

The small pieced blocks are only one inch in size making each 9 patch only 3 inches big.

So many great fabrics and fantastic fine hand quilting make this a stunning quilt. 

This beauty has had a gentle wash and is ready to enjoy . 

A circa 1930’s quilt that actually looks unused and I gave it a first “bath”. 

The 9 patch blocks are set together to make a single chain then are framed by a pretty blue print border and then it is finished with a blue binding. 

The dimensions are a nice 78x87 inches.
