Fantastic vintage cross stitched quilt called Colonial Chintz.
Designed in a beautiful medallion layout with an inner design of hearts, tulips and florals and framed with more hearts and florals and then also an outer border of cross stitch smaller flowers.
Lots of detail in the designs.
This was a kit quilt and thinking it may be a progress kit form the circa 1950’s. A time popular for some of the kit quilts.
All hand worked and also hand quilted in attractive designs.
The condition of this quilt is excellent and appears to have been washed and really not used much if any.
