Red and White Double Irish Chain Small Scale Quilt

This is the neatest Double Irish Chain quilt with a super nice shade of red.

A softer shade with years of being out and not tucked away. I gave it a gentle wash and its ready to enjoy. 

So fresh and in excellent condition.

Very usable and a nice weight, not heavy. 

Just the right amount of all over soft fade that shows it true self being 140 some years of age, as a circa 1880’s quilt.

No wear, no issues.

Small blocks, only 11/4 inch in size.  Beautiful hand quilting and lots of it.
