This pattern a basic Four Patch on Point has so much going for it with the use of the many fabrics in the blocks and that it set on point with alternating fabric of a double pink.
This hand made quilt is from a circa 1890s time period.
There are lots of indigos, double pinks, plaid, red, cranberry, shirtings, and much more.
No wear is noted. It really looks unwashed and unused.
It’s all hand quilted, has a nice weight and not heavy.
The dimensions on this quilt are 67x76 inches. Images are taken both inside and outside.
