This early One Patch unwashed quilt has some great varieties of fabrics we love from the circa 1860-70’s time period.
I didn’t wash this early textile as not to compromise the stability of the many early fabrics, there are a few of the small blocks with wear, really it’s more so deterioration instead of wear.
Hand quilted and note the double rod quilting on the edge seen frequently in that earlier time.
