Love Apple Pieced Quilt

This colorful love Apple Antique Quilt is a true beauty of hand work and condition. 

The fine hand quilting is a testament to the quilt maker and the love of skilled handwork.

Upon close looking this Love Applique is pieced and not appliquéd. A skill to piece this pattern is quite detailing.

The fabulous colors of deep green stems, red and pumpkin/ orange  are so holiday happy in the design of the “love apple “ ! 

A circa 1920’s quilt. 

The whimsical layout of the Love Apples makes this an easy quilt to use in either direction. 

Thinking this is one they may have seen an earlier version of  and loved the pattern, so this made during the Colonial Revival . 

The condition looks to be unused and looks to have been washed probably once. 

The dimensions are a generous 78x86 inches
