Strippie Bars Quilt

Stunning Bars Strippie Quilt in colors of red and green prints.  

A quilt that is so rich in color and it presents itself well. 

A circa 1900’s quilt. 

The condition of the quilt is overall excellent with some minor natural fade near the top.

 There’s no wear.

It is hand quilted and hand bound. The beauty looks unwashed and probably not really used, maybe displayed at some time. 

The backing is a wonderful green print. Possibly a Pennsylvania Mennonite quilt, but I did acquire it in Illinois. 

The dimensions are 80x83 inches.

It is shown outside and also inside on a queen bed.
