This is one of the nicest and colorful Grandmothers Flower Garden quilts. This one has the nice green paths of hexagons in-between the gardens of hexagons.
A circa 1930’s quilt that is very pretty.
The overall condition is excellent and this one is ready to enjoy.
When I see a Flower Garden quilt, even thought this is one of the most made quilt patterns in the 1930’s time period, i wonder about the maker as these are almost always hand pieced and to think of the time that goes into making one is astounding.
The border edge is even detailed.
All hand quilted.
Yellow centers have complementary colors surrounding the gardens. This one is on the smaller side regarding the pieces.
Upon detailed looking, saw one tiny rub on the binding and a small light residual age spot, shown.
