This is such a colorful String Stars quilt, one that looks like antique star blocks appliquéd onto a newer ground fabric and made later.
The border pieces that frame the stars look like vintage fabric, maybe even some feedsacks.
Some of the fabrics are novelty and conversation prints.
It is all machine quilted. Some of the machine quilting looks Ike freehand machine quilting and some of the other unsure, but all nicely done and its such an attractive quilt.
So usable and in excellent, unused, unwashed condition.
