This delightful Lone Star quilt with the cone border sings of such a well made antique quilt.
The detailed hand quilting includes some double line quilting in the diamonds and the border cones, the clamshell designs in the ground areas and it’s so fine in stitch work.
It was unused when I acquired it and I gave it a first wash.
The condition is excellent.
This quilt from what I was told is from a Chatham, Massachusetts estate.
A circa 1930’s quilt in soft shades of a peach shade of orange, green, yellow and on a white ground.
The dimensions are 64x78 inches. Shown on a queen bed.
