This is such a fantastic twist of the traditional Barn Raising Log Cabin pattern plus the fact of the small scale pieces make this quilt a real standout.
The log cabin blocks of pieces are only around 4 inches in size.
The light and dark format make this so graphic in design.
A circa 1890’s quilt in mainly solids and the strips and center of the cabin is so small and narrow pieced.
The strips are only about 1/2 inch wide.
The overall condition is excellent with a few minor bites.
Made of wools and the backing is a soft darker blue flannel of the time period.
A wonderful design to add to a collection and displays so well.
A great quilt for any collection and one for anyone to enjoy.
It has a sleeve on it for display and it can be removed if desired.
