Log Cabin Streak of Lightening Quilt

This earthy Log Cabin quilt in a streak of lightening design is so great in the use of the light wools and other fabrics. 

Such a handsome quilt that I can see in so many homes from an uptown high end home to a country or primitive setting.

It is tied with the ties showing on the backside. The backside is a great plaid light weight wool fabric. 

I would say the top is on foundation as no batting is used, just backed with that great fabric. 

The maker did a fantastic use of the fabrics with a light and dark layout . 

A circa 1900’s quilt. So very showy. 

Overall excellent condition, a few minor bites.

The dimensions are 71x82 inches.
