This fine appliqué quilt, The Ladies Dream pattern from an early designer, Mrs Danner.
This outstanding quilt is in excellent condition and a true collectors quilt or one to enjoy and cherish. We love the blue and white colors.
Țhe applique is fine and the hand quilting is done at 10 stitches per inch and that is fine handwork. Just look at the details of the workmanship. The rows of hand quilting are only 1/2 inches apart !!
Love that the maker dated this Quiit when made in June 1940, but also signed her name. Frannie Loomis Rosa May I gave this exquisite quilt a gentle wash .
The generous dimensions are 83x93 inches and it is shown on a queen bed. It can be turned any direction.
