This Medallion of Grapes appliqué quilt that is done by the intertwined vines, leaves and grapes in the center of the quilt and then framed by a vine of grapes and leaves is in excellent condition.
A circa 1930/40’s quilt that is hand quilted and hand appliqué.
The grapes appear lightly stuffed and then appliquéd.
I gave this beauty a freshening wash and it’s ready to enjoy.
The hand quilting in the ground areas is done in the crosshatch pattern.
The maker bound the quilt with what appears to be the same solid green used for the leaves.
The dimensions are 75x85 on this quilt. Shown on a queen bed.
