Unique Tulip Basket Quilt

This great patchwork of a quilt, a Tulip Variation Patchwork Basket quilt. 

The fabrics are so earthy and many browns were used. 

Some wonderful madders were used in the pieced basket. 
The ground fabric in between the blocks almost look like corn stalks, so great. 

The overall condition is excellent as it looks unused and never washed. This beauty came from a quilt appraiser/collectors estate.

I know the collector loved quality or unique quilts and this one fits the niche. 

Some provenance is attached with the quilt and will be included. 

A circa 1890’s quilt that is nicely hand quilted. 

The dimensions are 77x83 inches. This is a pattern that can be used either direction on a bed.
