Outstanding Hawaiian appliqué quilt in lavender and white .
This beauty of a traditional Hawaiian pattern is well made and has the nicest of hand quilting. Several fine quilting patterns are used throughout the quilt including a feathered wreath, interlocking circles, crosshatch and more.
A circa 1930’s quilt.
There are 8-9 stitches per inch.
I gave this quilt a gentle wash, not recently, but it’s fresh and ready to enjoy.
Overall excellent condition, with some slight color variation on the lavender outer border as shown.
Beautifully appliquéd.
This though a traditional Hawaiian design, the hand quilting was not the echo style.
The dimensions are 82x110 inches ,, so quite large in size.
