Variable Stars Quilt with Border

Fine Variable Stars quilt with the neatest border, like a candy cane. 

The hand quilting is nice and done by a talented quilter. 

The fabrics are an early green and double pink. THe size of the stars is a smaller size meaning more piecework. The blocks are only 5 inches in size. 

The condition is excellent overall.

Circa 1880’s.
