This hand pieced beauty is also hand quilted and is so detailed with the small scale triangles in the star design and also having a great border of triangles. This is a pattern I don’t often see.

It’s been gently washed and is ready to enjoy.
Look at the quilting designs in the ground area, a moon and stars. The stars quilted with triple lines. Circa 1900 or possibly later.
The red fabric is challenging and the triple line hand quilting is an earlier style of quilting.
The red on this wonderful quilt is more of a tomato red and it’s consistent throughout the quilt.
