Princess Feathers and Tulips Appliqué Quilt 1907-Signed

This stunning 9 Block Princess Feathers with a touch of Tulips appliqué quilt is a beautiful work of quilt art.

Excellent condition too. 

Signed or initialed  M E D A and dated 1907 in a couple places brings some history to this hand made quilt.

One place with the date 1907 has the initials B R under it. 

Hand appliqué and hand quilted.

This is one of these quilts that appears to have been made and just stored and looks unused, never washed. 

The maker had an eye for design and in addition to the beauty of the blocks added a beautiful vining border of tulips.

The dimension are 79x80 inches.
