Pieced and Appliqué Basket Quilt

This is a charming and attractive Basket quilt, both pieced and appliqué.

Made with a great color of orange,,, known by some as a cheddar color or pumpkin. 

The quilt blocks of Baskets is framed by the cheddar/orange border. 

The condition of the quilt is excellent. One tiny spot of binding wear was noted. 

I gave his one a freshening wash and air dried. 

A circa 1890’s hand quilted quilt. See the detailed quilting designs on the quilt in the many images. The designs look like dahlias or daisies. 

The dimensions are 75x77 inches.
