Pennsylvania Folk Art Dutch Quilt Provincial

This outstanding pictorial-like appliqué of many traditional Pennsylvania Dutch designs is in excellent condition.

There so much going on with so many designs in the quilt.

The pots of flowers, the heart, the song birds, the many different florals. 

The earthy colors add to the overall effect. 

A circa 1940’s vintage quilt that is also beautifully hand quilted and hand applique.

In the corners  a heart vase is quilted and several designs are in the white areas of the quilt.

The border of applique finishes off and frames the quilt.

This beauty has been gently washed. 

The dimensions are a generous 83x95 and shown on a queen bed.
