Super charming original size Scottie Dog quilt. This one is really quite a unique one with the really small scale pattern of Scotties. There are 35 Scottie blocks!!
The block is only 4 1/4 inches in size and the pieced Scotties are so adorable.
Made with solids and prints. Many of the prints are what look like feedsack fabrics, and actually some of the fabrics in the blocks are an earlier or a 1900’s blue, but dating it to the newest fabrics used.
Circa 1940’s.
This sweet quilt is all hand quilted.
So the maker probably had a scrap bag of old fabrics. Overall excellent condition and this sweeties is ready to enjoy.
