This outstanding circa 1930’s antique quilt, A Double 9 Patch, is one to behold thinking of the maker using all the scrappy fabrics to make this masterpiece.
The 9 patch blocks are only a bit over 1/2 inches and the entire 9 block is less than 2 inches across. That is tiny piecing.
This superb beauty is in excellent condition.
I’ve given this fine quilt a wash, probably its first and was air dried. It’s ready to enjoy.
The quilting is all by hand and at a fine 10 stitches per inch.
The maker finished off the quilt framing the patchwork with a sunny yellow border and then finely quilted it also.
The dimensions are 73x79 inches and shown on a queen bed.
I’ve shown another quilt in the last image with thsi one to give one an idea how easy it is to use 2 different quilts to complement each other. This listing is only for the one described.
