This is an excellent example of one of Marie Webster‘s quilt patterns. She was a quilt pattern designer, quilt producer, businesswoman and author, in the early 1900’s and her quilt pattern designs in quilts made at that time are highly sought after.
This beautiful Pink Dogwood in a Basket quilt is a fine example of this pattern. The workmanship, the hand quilting is all exquisite.
It has beautiful dense crosshatch hand quilting design in the ground areas.

The condition is superb.
The fabrics are mostly colors of the pinks and greens.
The center design is framed by a border of more of flowers surrounding the edge.
