Kite / Periwinkle Small Scale Quilt

A circa 1930’s beauty in quilt making, a pattern of small scale and fine hand piecing is this Kite or often called Periwinkle quilt.  

I had a welcome sunny day so the images were taken outside. 

The smaller scale design is so desirable.

The condition of this quilt is excellent and so ready to be enjoyed in many ways.

A  wonderful collection of fabrics were used in the patten and then set on a white ground.

The edge gently curved with the form of the stars design.

All hand quilted and in the ground a daisy like quilting design was done. 

The dimensions are 72x72 inches.
