Indigo Double Pyramids Quilt

This Double Pyramids antique quilt offers the finest of hand quilting and design. The quilting pattern is exquisite.  

Framed by a blocks border and the quilt is finished with a separate indigo binding. 

This circa 1860’s quilt  has had a gentle wash and is ready to enjoy. 

Overall excellent condition with one block having some fade or color loss and some age toning that remains after the wash.

I consider the minor imperfections as a testament to being approximately 160 years old and its patina. 

So it is fresh and clean and such an antique beauty.

The dimensions are 78x80 inches.  Shown on a queen bed.
