Outstanding graphic Pineapple Log Cabin quilt in various fabrics of silks, satins and others and from circa 1880’s.
One of the desirable Log Cabin patterns and it shows off so well.
A smaller scale design and the narrow strips of only 3/8’s of an inch making up the design show a testament to the makers skill.
The backing is a beautiful early print of the time period. Note the addition of some fancy embroidery work.
Overall very good condition with some wearing/breaks in some of the fabrics, but overall so graphic and eye appealing, one can overlook the minor issues.
The quilt actually has been displayed as It has a sleeve on the backside edge.
The dimensions are 56x75 making it just right for display or showing on a bed.
