This outstanding early Variable Stars pieced quilt is one to behold for the condition and the early fabrics in the stars.
It is in overall excellent unwashed condition.
The early time period of this beauty, a circa 1840’s /1850’s quilt that is in such fine condition. Some of the fabrics may also be from the 1830’s .
I feel it was a cherished family quilt through the years and well taken care of for almost 200 years. Most likely some of that time it was in the hands of a collector.
The fabrics are a catalog of early fabric design and one any collector, museum or anyone loving antique quilts will enjoy and cherish.
The dimensions are 74x94 inches on this Vermont quilt.
