This circa 1880’s blue and white Drunkards Path quilt is in overall excellent condition.
A wonderful smaller sale pattern of this design and the hand quilting is quite nice and tiny stitches for the quilting.
The hand quilting is done is the double rod lines of the time period.
This one has had a gentle wash. Ready to enjoy.
There is some natural light binding wear in places and a little smudge mark which could actually be printing on the fabric. No other wear noted and such great condition from a 1880’s quilt.
A great triple border frames the pattern.
The maker used a couple different blue fabric in the design.
The dimensions are 73x80 and shown on a queen bed, so there’s lots of possibilities for this quilt.
