This beauty, a Snowflake like pattern is so sweet and such a great color of wedge-wood blue and white with a scalloped edge.
Note how the appliqué pattern is blue on white and white on blue.
The design is similar to a sister pattern that has a star in the center, Snowflake, by The Paragon Needlecraft Company, a company that sold kit quilts back in the 1930’s and into the 1980’s I believe.
I recently gave this circa 1940’s cotton quilt a wash and it’s fresh and clean and ready to enjoy.
The condition is excellent. All hand quilted and hand appliqué.
