This beautiful appliqué quilt called Autumn Leaves , which is a similar pattern to one that won Honorable Mention in the 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair.
This stunner is all hand appliquéd and hand quilted.
It’s designed with the central applique of leaves and vines with an inner green frame and another row of leaves surrounding that and another green frame then the outer border edge of the meandering leaves.
Lots of details.
The condition is excellent.
No wear is noted.
It has been washed so it’s ready to be enjoyed.
This circa 1930’s quilt is displayed on a queen bed.
