This vintage 1976 Bicentennial Star quilt is fantastic not only in colors of red, white and blue, but the detailed emblem in the blocks. This is also a Mountain Mist pattern and one not so easy to make.
I was reading that this kit pattern was selected in 1974 by the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission and there was a contest for creating the design.
Lots of handwork in making the quilt and it is all nicely hand quilted.
This quilt looks unused and never washed and is so extra nice and clean.
