Quite a patchwork of piecework design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe condition of this unique quilt is excellent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI gave it a fresh wash and it was air dried.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe quilt is hand quilted  and the neat cross strips are machine appliqué.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSuch a great twist to a Feathered Stars design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLove the colors of blue and yellow. They work so well together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNot only is the design great,  but the hand quilting is fine and detailed. Feathered wreaths with feathers and pinwheels quilting on the inside of the block. Straight line quilting in the X blocks.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe center of the stars blocks has a mini pieced star like a variable star.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe central block in the quilt has a fine detailed quilting pattern.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA circa 1920\/30’s quilt. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne minor light age spot is on the border as shown, and very insignificant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe dimensions  are a generous 78x8 inches, so this is a quilt that can be turned any direction.
