Know Your Antique Quilt Dealer-Cindy
Welcome!!
Cindy's Antique Quilts brings you a selection of quality American made antique/old/vintage quilts including
antique crib quilts, antique doll quilts, antique/victorian crazy quilts, patchwork quilts, applique quilts,
wholecloth quilts, embroidered quilts, kit quilts, quilt tops, quilt blocks and feedsacks. We will have quilts
with patterns such as double wedding ring, grandmother's fan, lone star, broken star, variable star, rose of
sharon, dresden plate, trip around the world, double Irish chain, democratic rose, feathered star, rocky road
to Kansas and so many more. We have a selection of over 300 quilts in inventory.
We also carry vintage 221 and 222 Singer Featherweight sewing machines. Ronnie Rennels, my husband, cleans
and services all the machines we sell and they are ready to take home and use. You may check with us to see if
any are available as inventory varies.
We also offer for sale collectible vintage Indian trade and camp blankets that include Pendleton, Cayuse, Beaver
State, Oregon City, Racine, Capps, Beacon, Esmond, cowboy bedspreads and others. You will also find some cowboy,
Indian, western items and A Brandt Ranch Oak Furniture.
The condition of our vintage quilts will be excellent unless noted and without serious stains or wear. We do
sometimes offer antique quilts in "as is" condition so one might want to do restoration or enjoy the quilt in
its found state. Many of the quilts we acquire have never been washed, so occasionally we will wet wash or
rinse one. The age of our quilts is usually described by circa date and we try to be as accurate as possible.
Most of our quilts will be cotton and have a cotton batting and will be hand quilted unless noted. The SPI is
noted in descriptions and that is stitches per inch top side counted.
We offer a selection of quilts from the mid to early 1800's to the 1950's. Our quilts have been acquired from
all over the country and we select those we feel would be enjoyed by others. In our selection of quilts, one
will see quilts from all regions of the country and we try to have quilts in all price ranges. In acquiring
quilts, we select those with condition, color, workmanship, graphics, appeal and somtimes just real rare unusual
or folksy ones. We have sold to collectors, quilt teachers, appraisers, quilters, decorators, quilt shops,
professionals, designers, museums, movie sets and anyone wanting a quilt for that special place or purpose.
Having exhibited at major quilt shows since 1987, we have many satisfied customers and always appreciate their
business and new ones too!! You will find us exhibiting at many of the major shows from East coast to West
coast. Be sure to check out our show schedule page. We also offer a lay-a-way plan which is described on the
Order Form/Purchase page.
Our 18 plus years of buying, selling and collecting quilts has been a very positive experience. We know when
shopping for a quilt actually seeing and "feeling" it with "hands on" is better, so we want to offer the same
quality of quilts we have at the shows and you can still shop at home. We want you to feel confident about
your purchase. Our quilts are guaranteed to be authentic and as described. We have an Order Form page with
details when purchasing items for your convenience that may be submitted easily. If you have a special request,
be sure to let us know, as all quilts are not on the web site. We try to keep the site updated and note when
items are sold or on hold. Sometimes our antique quilts are out for a special exhibit. Please call or email to
ask questions about particular quilts for sale.
Be sure to bookmark this site now so you can visit often and see what antique/vintage and collectible quilts,
other textiles and western collectibles we are continually adding for your shopping pleasure. Give us a call
or email us at crantquilt@aol.com and request to be notified when additional items are added to the site or
send in a wish list. We accept all major credit cards, checks, money orders and also have a PAYPAL Shopping Cart.
Glad you stopped in for a visit and enjoy your time shopping.
Thank you, Cindy Rennels
