Mexican Folk Art - Decor
Thank you for shopping with Cindy's Antique Quilts. This Mexican/Spanish page includes vintage items of interest that
may have a folk art appeal or the Southwest feel.
Rare A Brandt Ranch Oak Saguaro Couch and Ottoman(f-344)- Circa 1950's. The size is 69" long, 29"deep, 24" to top of
the cactus front legs, 37" to top of cushion on the back, and 34" to the top of the back of the sofa. The condition of
this sofa is very good. The cushions, sofa and ottoman were reupholstered soon after the original buyer purchased it,
and they are in very good, very usable condition. Has the original acorn finish and has not been refinished. This is
one of the more desirable pieces of Ranch Oak. Would be great with one of the cactus lamps and any of the carved
special pieces. The price includes both pieces. Lay-a-way available.
Price: $2395.00

Strippie Folky Sunflower Quilt w/ Border(q-227)- Circa 1930's, size 67x79. The condition of the quilt is very good. This
folky, funky sunflower quilt is old style machine quilted with the green stems being hand appliqued. The flowers are
hand pieced. The borders are made with feedsack fabric. The quilt has a form if its own the way it was set together and
the style. There feels to be another quilt inside that is used for the batting. It's the kind of quilt that can make you
smile... When describing this quilt , I think of Sharon Newman and Bobbie Aug authors of Verticle Quilts With Style. I
think Sharon would have had an appreciation for this quilt with its design. Dennison, Texas estate.
